Guest Author - April Andrews and Auctioned for the Alpha (The Omega Auctions, 3)

Yes, I'm running late sharing this -- but I wanted to make sure to share before next week's post of the FOURTH book in this series out later this week!  So welcome April back to my blog and check out Auctioned for the Alpha!

When Eric is found, abandoned on the side of the road, he is identified as an omega and placed in the Omega Auctions. Only, Eric doesn’t know if he is an omega. He doesn’t know himself at all. The place in his mind where that information should be is completely blank.

So, when Eric is bought by a steely-eyed alpha and informed that he is to become a breeding wolf for his new pack, he refuses. He wants to find out who he is, where he’s from, and what he is supposed to be doing with his life, not lay on his back and do as his new alpha commands!

Gideon, pack alpha, is utterly beguiled by the strange omega and he will do whatever it takes to make Eric his. But for once the alpha might need to seduce rather than command...and he will have to do it quickly. Because before long Eric’s past is going to catch up with them, and the alpha and the omega are going to be in for quite a surprise...

Eric shook his head. His hands clenched and unclenched on Gideon’s shoulders. “I can’t.”

“You can,” Gideon said. “You will.” And then he leaned in and he kissed Eric’s cheek before moving across and kissing his ear and then down to his neck. The other man tasted as good as Gideon had known he would and Gideon couldn’t stop from licking along the curve where his neck met his shoulder.

“Gideon, stop...” Eric whispered. “I can’t.”

“You can,” Gideon said again and gently he bit into Eric’s neck, marking him, claiming him. Eric moaned from the contact and threw his head back. Gideon deepened the bite.

“Don’t,” Eric whispered. “Please....”

“I’ve thought about this all day,” Gideon said as he licked the wound that he’d made. “I’ve thought of nothing else since the moment you stepped out of that truck. I ache for you, Eric. I ache so badly it’s almost impossible. I’m desperate for you.”

“And I’m going to have you. I have no choice.”

“And me?” Eric asked. “Do I have a choice?”

“No,” Gideon said as he moved to the other side of Eric’s neck. He bit him again and smiled around the bite as the other man gasped. “I’m not going to give you one. I don’t know you yet, Eric, not properly, but already I sense that you could talk yourself out of what you want given the chance. It will be far simpler if I simply take.”

“Take?” Eric gasped.

Gideon nodded and moved his hands. He placed them on either side of Eric’s shirt, paused there for just a moment, and then ripped the two sides apart. A moment later and he ripped the fabric from Eric and let out a sigh when he saw the other male’s bare body. He was even more beautiful than Gideon had expected.

“I’m going to take exactly what I want,” he said.

He moved his hands down to the waistband of Eric’s jeans, paused for another moment, and then pulled the zipper down. Eric watched, wide eyed, as Gideon dragged the jeans down his hips.

“Exactly what I want,” he added.

And then, because Gideon couldn’t wait a single minute more, he dropped to his knees, pulling Eric’s jeans down the rest of the way. The only thing between them now was the thin cotton of Eric’s pants. Gideon smiled. He could see Eric’s thick cock outlined underneath them and it was so much more than he had expected.

“But don’t worry, Eric,” he said as he pulled that cock free. “I’m going to give you what you want. Exactly what you want.”

NEW RELEASE -- New Series!! THE LAST DIRE WOLF, Bloodlines Book 1

My new series BLOODLINES is finally here.

Their love is taboo.  The crossing of wolven bloodlines is forbidden.  Yet Eirik, supreme alpha and king of the wolves, is tired of hiding his love for Gunnar.  The last of his kind, he’s cursed to be without a mate during his long life. He refuses his destiny and seeks solace with one of those closest to him.

King’s guard Gunnar knew he could never expect to stand at the king’s side when he let the man take him to bed, no matter how much he began to crave it over the decades.  He’d given his life to be a member of the elite warriors, not a king’s consort, but he can’t stop wishing the king could be his.

Moments before Eirik can change the laws governing their world, an old enemy comes baring a unique gift.  Perhaps Eirik’s not the last of his kind after all.

“You know as well as I do that wolves are not immortal.  He’s lived a long, long life and now his soul has… grown thin.  I’ve never met one as old as he is and doubt I will again.”
It wasn’t the answer Eirik wanted.  “How much longer do we have with him?”
The doctor shook his head.  “It could be days… maybe weeks. I couldn’t say.”
It wasn’t the answer he wanted to hear.  His hands fisted at his side as he struggled to control his emotions.
“You can go,” Eirik whispered, his voice raw.
The doctor left quickly.  Eirik wanted to scream.  He wanted to howl his frustrations, but he had too many eyes watching him.
He was supposed to be regal.
Fuck them all!
Eirik punched the wall, his fist breaking through one of the painted cement blocks.  It shattered around his hand, leaving his fist bloodied.  There was no pain, not greater than the one he already felt.  He stared at the hole he’d left in the wall, knowing it was just like the hole growing inside him.
“Your Majesty?” Gunnar said, his voice low and filled with worry.
Eirik met Gunnar’s stare.  He said nothing, just brushed past the man and went back into Uffe’s room.
The elder wolf slept.
Eirik walked back to the side of the bed and sat down.  He took Uffe’s hand in his.
Something had changed.
“Uffe?” he asked, panic filling him.  He shook the man’s shoulder carefully.  “Uffe?” he cried, louder this time.  He kept on shaking, but Uffe never awoke.
“No,” he whispered, unready to say goodbye.
Sorrow twisted his face as he sank to his knees beside the bed, Uffe’s hand still captured between his.  Hot tears fell down his face as he held on for as long as he could.  When there was nothing left inside him, he rose on shaking legs and placed a last kiss on Uffe’s forehead.  Wiping away the tears, he collected himself as best he could.
“I want his funeral tonight,” he said to the room.  He knew several of the hospital staff stood at the door, ready to prepare the body.  And likely ready to share gossip about the king losing his control.  “I won’t have him sitting in the morgue.  Tonight.”
“Yes, Your Majesty,” two of the staff members said in unison.
After grabbing the leather file, he exited the room.
He felt Gunnar fall into step behind him in the hospital corridor.  The small facility was wolf-owned and operated.  No humans could ever find out what they were, so they’d created the world they needed on their own.  He moved his hand to the side, slapping Gunnar in the chest with the file.
“Take this and have Damien review Uffe’s notes.”
Gunnar took the folder and never lost a step.  “Yes, Your Majesty.”
“I want him to conduct a search for other dire wolves immediately.”
“Of course, sire.”
Eirik stopped before the elevator and punched the button, harder than he needed to.  Frustration filled every ounce of his body.  There was nothing he could do to stop from losing Uffe.  The best wolven doctors, the best of hospital care… none of it was enough.
He was now the last.
Uffe had saved him, for what?  For a legacy of being the last of his bloodline?  To only parlay the eventual end of his kind for another few thousand years?  What had he accomplished to leave a mark—a mark for an entire race of wolves?
Nothing he’d done would ever be enough.  The dire wolves would go out with a whimper.
The elevator arrived and he stepped inside, Gunnar on his heels.  The doors wouldn’t close fast enough.
As soon as they were alone, Eirik dragged Gunnar into his arms and pressed his lips to his lover’s.  Gunnar yielded easily, his mouth soft under Eirik’s.  He dragged in a breath, drawing in Gunnar’s masculine scent.
He needed this touch… this taste.  He needed to feel alive after witnessing the slow drift of death.  He needed Gunnar to fill that hole widening inside him.
Eirik backed away and stared into Gunnar’s handsome face.  “Tonight.  Come to me.  After the funeral… I don’t want to be alone.”

Gunnar cupped one side of Eirik’s face.  “As if I’d let you be alone tonight.”

Guest Author -- Adam Charles and His Omega

Welcome Adam Charles back -- and an excerpt from the new release, His Omega

Mace wasn’t looking for a mate, but when his alpha makes an alliance with the nearest pack, an omega intended for Mace is part of the deal. Mace goes into the relationship wanting nothing more than to please his alpha, but the omega’s reluctance to commit to the mating right away gives him pause. He convinces the younger man to give him a chance, and Mace soon discovers that being with this omega is going to bring him pleasure far beyond simply pleasing his own alpha.

Mace walked across the clearing to Gideon’s cabin when the truck pulled up. Thomas hopped out right away and moved to Gideon’s side. The two men embraced, and Mace looked away as he tried to compose his features. The man who had to be Noah got out of the truck more slowly. He closed his door and turned right away to begin unloading the bags.
Mace walked over and helped him. The younger man stopped and looked over at him. Noah had jet black hair and clear blue eyes. He was fair skinned and trim, but not too skinny. “I’m Mace.” He stopped and extended his hand.
“Noah. I’m Thomas’s brother.”
“Yes, I know.” Mace returned to unloading the bags.
Noah reached for another bag. “You must be his second.”
“Yes.” When the truck was unloaded, he asked, “Which bags are yours?”
Noah looked around. “These three here.”
Mace nodded. “My cabin is over here.” He picked up all three of Noah’s bags and began walking over there.
“I’m staying with you?” Noah asked, as he moved to catch up with Mace.
“Where else would you stay?”
Noah glanced around. “Well, I thought we were supposed to get to know each other first.”
Mace didn’t miss a beat. “There’s a guest room, and it’s ready for you.”
“Oh, I see.”
“I told you he’d fall for you right away,” Thomas yelled from across the clearing. “Can’t get you moved in fast enough.”
Noah turned bright red as the two alphas walked over. Gideon said nothing, but Thomas grinned at them.
“He was worried you wouldn’t like him,” Thomas said as he hugged his brother briefly and then patted him on the back. “I knew it was nonsense. Omega or not, our line’s full of handsome males.”
Noah cleared his throat. “I wasn’t worried about my looks. We’re trying to change things, remember? It’s time matches were phased out.”
Mace didn’t know what to say. If Noah didn’t want him, Mace would lose his chance to be the one to raise Gideon’s heirs. He didn’t like that idea. “How about you give me a chance first?”
Noah’s cheeks pinkened again. “I meant no offense. I just feel like I’m being hoisted off on you. I don’t want to put you out.”
Mace felt Gideon watching him. He moved over to Noah. “I’m not objecting. I’m looking forward to getting to know such a beautiful male.” Mace wasn’t exactly lying. Noah was attractive.
“All right,” Noah said after a few moments of silence.
Mace nodded and took Noah’s bags inside. Noah followed him to the guest room, looking around as they moved through the cabin.
“You have a lovely home,” Noah said.
“Thank you. Were you still living with your brother in your pack?”
“Yes. In my pack, omegas stayed with their families until they were old enough to breed. Then they would move to their own cabins.”
Mace put Noah’s bags down and looked him over. “You’re more than old enough to breed. Aren’t you?”
Noah nodded. “Twenty. But Thomas didn’t want me to just be a breeder. He wanted me to have a mate. A real family.”
Mace moved closer. “Lots of omegas will have that in years to come. I think it will be better for everyone. Omegas will no longer have large broods of children with different fathers. It’ll be better.” In the confined space, Noah’s scent surrounded him. He took a deep breath.
Noah turned to look out the window.
Mace hesitated, but finally he said, “You’re worried because you’re about to go into heat. That’s why you wanted to be somewhere else.”
Noah gripped the window sill. “Yes. I don’t want you to accept me because of that. It’s easy to think you’re compatible with someone when you’re fucking all the time.”
“Are you a virgin?”
“But no one ever seeded you?”
Noah turned around and leaned back against the chest of drawers by the window. “No. There was only one man. He pulled out and didn’t knot me. We only had sex a few times.”
“You do prefer men then?”
Noah nodded.
“Do you find me appealing?”
Noah looked him up and down. “Yes. You’re handsome. Strong. Your alpha favors you above all others, so you must be a good man.”
Mace stepped closer again. “We don’t have to have sex. While you’re in heat the next few days, I can simply meet your needs.”
“You don’t have to.”
“I’d prefer it to you being bedded by another. I want to please my alpha. He desires this.”
“And you?”
Mace chose his words carefully. “I want children, and I find you appealing. If you’ll accept me as your mate, I’ll enjoy giving you many pups.”
Noah cast his gaze down.
“Don’t you want children?”
“I do.”
“Are you afraid?”
“A little bit.”
Since male omegas had to give birth via Cesarean, Mace understood. “I’d take good care of you, I promise.”
Noah looked up at him. “You seem to have already made your mind up.”
“I’m choosing to go into this with a positive attitude.”
“To please your alpha?”
Mace nodded.
Noah gazed up at him. “He seems like a good man. You must love him very much.”
“Of course.”
Noah shifted his stance but didn’t break eye contact. “My brother never notices subtle things, but … I saw you looking at Gideon as you came over.”
Mace walked over to the bed and sat down. After nearly a minute of silence, he said, “Will it be a problem? I’ve never acted on it and never will.”
“I don’t want to be a consolation prize. It’s unfair to both of us.”
“Why don’t we just try, the way our alphas want us to? Can’t hurt.” He let his gaze wander over Noah. “I do find you attractive.”
Noah came and sat beside him but kept some space between them. “But can we start out as friends?”
“You’re about to go into heat.”
“I can masturbate.”
Mace leaned over. “Cabin’s not that big. You might drive me crazy that way.”
“Then maybe I shouldn’t stay here.”
“No, I want you here.”
“We’ll end up in bed together.”
“Then I’ll promise not to knot you. All right?”
Noah didn’t respond.
“You want to please your alpha, too, right? Especially since he’s your brother.”
After a moment, Noah nodded.
“Then let’s try. If it turns into something permanent, I’ll be faithful. And take damn good care of you and our pups.”
“You’ll love us?”
Mace couldn’t make the lie come out. He settled for saying, “I’ll take care of you. Protect you. Be good to you.”
Noah stood and walked a few feet away. “Better than most omegas get, I suppose.”
“That’s all changing now.” Mace stood as well. “I won’t force you to accept me, but our alphas want this.”
“You keep saying that. I’m not saying it’s not important to me as well, but it doesn’t matter so much if it’s not what we want.”
“Neither of us know that yet. Don’t set us up to fail.”
Noah frowned. “I’m not.”
Mace made himself calm down and back off. Fighting moments after meeting couldn’t be good. “Then let me give you a tour of our pack lands.”
“That would be nice.”
Mace grabbed his keys and held the front door open for Noah. He’d expected the omega to be eager to please and more than ready to submit to the will of the alphas. But now, it seemed Mace had some wooing to do.

NEW RELEASE: Redemption for Two Bears

Technically it's not release day until tomorrow, but it's up early on Amazon, so why not? (I'll update the links elsewhere once it gets wide release)

At seventeen, Gideon challenged the male who killed his fathers, not knowing he was selling his and his brother bear’s souls to the devil himself. Forced to kill, Gideon and Abram become the monsters they never wanted to be. Once they’re saved, they’re only forced into a brand new hell.

They both know there is no redemption for beasts like them.

Only when they find their mate, a male who’s seeking out the same devil who wronged them years before, can they hope for a future. Both Gideon and Abram know how easy it is to lose yourself to vengeance and they won’t allow Garren to go over the edge.

Can they save him and redeem themselves in the process?
