What's Going On? Writing Update Dec 2014/Jan 2015

It seems I haven't posted in over a month.

A lot has happened.  I moved, for one.  As in halfway across the country.  So what little time I had left was better spent writing books and not blog posts.  At least, I think it was.

I apologize about my absence!  I am finally getting settled into my new digs and learning the lay of the land.

And I've had a couple new releases during my trek...

1.  The Dungeon, Level Five is the final Le Cachot tale.  I wasn't planning to stop at five, but being the punster that I am, it just ended up that way.  The story naturally felt like it was coming to an end and I worked to find a way to wrap up the rest of the levels in one final story.  And for those of you who read it... I AM considering a new story for Christophe.  He's just too delicious of a man to leave him without a happy ending.

2.  Huddle, story one of The Men's League.  I enjoy watching muscular men in tight uniforms crash into one another football.  So, I thought I'd give a football story a try.  These stories are going to be a little more hardcore and dark than recent stories. This is a planned 3-part series.

3.  The Barbarian, Part 3 is coming next.  Dagwn's story is on it's way, I promise!

4.  Developing a new sci-fi tale.  More to come on that.

5.  And lastly, I haven't forgotten about the dragons.  My heart suffered a little when the Fire Dragons didn't seem to connect with readers, but I've already got a super series sketched out for all the Dragon houses and it's killing me not to continue on with those tales.  It might not be January, but they're definitely coming in 2015.

I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and you're gearing up for a wonderful Christmas or Hanukkah, or Yule, or whatever it is you celebrate (or don't.)

Much love!

NEW RELEASE -- HUDDLE, Men's League, Book 1

Arrogant quarterback Aiden Summers thinks he’s God’s gift to football. When he’s not drafted, he and the country are shocked, but his cocky attitude barely wavers. Another offer to play ball, in a lesser league, is the best he can find to get paid to play—at least until the next season of big league ball inevitably comes knocking.

Arena football team owner Bailey Thompson is retired from the big game himself, but the love of play kept him inside the business. He sees undrafted college player Aiden Summers as just what his fledgling team needs to sell more seats and raise the profile of the league itself.

When the controlled Bailey meets with cocky Aiden, Bailey immediately knows the younger man needs a little dose of humility and where better to learn that on his knees, with the taste of the crop coming down on his flesh? Aiden’s not gay, but he can’t ignore the desire the rough caresses ignite, regardless if they’re from another man or not.

Can Bailey get Aiden to understand humility and service before it’s too late?
